Craig Hinds, front man and songwriter for Watershed, undoubtedly one of the most successful South African bands over the last decade, will be embarking on a 40 date tour around S.A, between November 2011 and February 2012, along with fellow band members James Sunney on double bass and Ian Bushell on guitar! The tour entitled ‘laying new tracks’ will primarily be showcasing brand new, unreleased material to fans in the major cities as well as the smaller towns. Hinds, one of the countries most prolific songwriters has written with the likes of Sir Tim Rice, Eliot Kennedy and Ali Thomson as well as writing songs for the recent ‘Jock of the Bushveld’ 3D movie and hit songs for the past two idols winners! Having spent a large amount of time in both London and Nashville concentrating on song writing, Craig is keen to start presenting this new material to Watershed fans across the country. The bigger hits such as Indigo girl, Shine on me and Letters will also be a part of the show, along with some edgy cover songs, both past and present, that have played a vital role in helping shape Craig Hinds as a songwriter and Watershed as a band! In intimate settings, stories behind both the new tracks and the old will be told during the show which are sure to make it a tour well worth remembering!

Watershed will be releasing a brand new single early in the new year simply entitled ‘water’. Later in 2012 the band are looking to release there 5th studio album, which after a string of platinum and gold selling albums, is sure to be a huge success. ‘Laying new tracks’ will be laying the foundations for new watershed songs as well as giving Craig some food for though regarding his much anticipated debut solo album.
